Announcements from VGX 2013

Formerly known as the VGAs, the Spike VGX awards are something gamers looks forward to every year. This year’s show brought many announcements. Here’s a list of announcements from tonight.

  • Borderlands game coming from Telltale Games
  • Tomb Raider Definitive Edition coming to PS4 and Xbox One
  • Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze release date announced for February 21, 2014; Cranky Kong will be playable character
  • Telltale Games also working on a Game of Thrones game
  • Joe Danger dev Hello Games working on new IP, No Man’s Sky
  • Dying Light will run at 1080p on PS4, no word on Xbox One
  • Respawn is “definitely thinking about” a beta for Titanfall
  • Alan Wake dev Remedy Entertainment working on iOs game called Agents of Storm
  • Lord of the Rings actor Elijah Wood is a cast member in Double Fine’s upcoming adventure game, Broken Age.
